First responders rushed to the scene of a fire Thursday night in northwest Miami-Dade County. It happened inside the Palm Lake Mobile Home Park near Northwest 76th Street and 27th Avenue. A 74-year-old woman was killed after colliding with a tree in Osceola County on Thursday, Florida Highway Patrol said.  Just before 5 p.m., the woman was traveling in a Nissan Xterra along Marigold Avenue and approaching Stepping Stone Boulevard.  For unknown reasons, she ran off the roadway onto the outside of a grassy shoulder before colliding with a tree.  She was pronounced deceased at the scene.  No other details about the crash have been released.   After a car accident,

On Wednesday, a man was seriously injured in a crash pulling a trailer full of watermelons on I-10 near MM 144 in Jackson County. According to a news release, the incident happened just after 8 p.m., involving a 59-year-old man from Auburndale, Florida. The Walton County Fire Rescue was called to an outside fire on Mixon Road in Mossy Head on Thursday. Fire officials said the fire happened at 5:40 a.m., and upon arrival, they discovered a double-wide trailer fully involved. An elderly Boynton Beach man died Wednesday afternoon, nearly a week after the SUV he was driving went off the road and struck a tree, authorities confirmed. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) confirmed Robert Stein passed away while in hospice care for the injuries he suffered in the wreck. A Jacksonville man already in custody for unlawful sexual activity with a minor, now faces one count of second-degree murder in the death of a child in a separate case, the sheriff’s office said. According to a news release, the incident happened at 12:17 p.m., as the 70-year-old man was heading West on US Highway 90.
