A Santa Rosa Beach man is dead after a crash in Walton County on Wednesday morning. Florida Highway Patrol said the incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. on U.S. 98 near Professional Place in Miramar Beach. According to a news release, a Santa Rosa Beach man driving an SUV rear-ended another SUV launching that vehicle forward several feet. Inside that vehicle were a 40-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman both from Miramar Beach who suffered minor injuries, FHP officials said.

A man was arrested after authorities say he fired two shots into a car during a road rage incident in Hillsborough County, striking a 16-year-old girl. Surveillance cameras were rolling when a woman drove her car into a Miami storefront. Video obtained Tuesday by Local 10 News shows the driver accelerating in reverse, knocking down a concrete barrier post before crashing into the store.
