A 19-year-old man was arrested after being accused of burglarizing multiple vehicles in Winter Springs apartments in July, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. A 32-year-old Orlando man died after Florida Highway Patrol says he ran off the roadway and hit a tree late Thursday. A Panama City man was arrested after authorities said he sexually abused a young child in Parker. According to the Parker Police Department on August 8th, 39-year-old Victor Gonzales-Lazano fondled a 5-year-old female victim in her home. The victim said Gonzales also took inappropriate photos of her. Gonzales is facing two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under the age of 12. Fort Myers police are investigating a crash after a driver was speeding and lost control just before the Midpoint Bridge Friday morning. A knocked down light pole and a mangled gate right in front of the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens is the result of the crash. FMPD says the driver lost control of a Camaro after speeding on wet roads. Police say the driver was going westbound on Colonial Boulevard. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

A woman and her son were transported to the hospital after they were struck by a hit-and-run driver in Northeast Miami-Dade. Photo by: nbcmiami A woman was killed in a wrong-way crash on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami Lakes early Friday, Florida Highway Patrol officials said. The crash happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. when the driver of a white Hyundai sedan was going south in the northbound lanes in the area of Northwest 154th Street, according to FHP. She hit a silver Toyota sedan that was going north, FHP said. The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene, authorities said.
