The wreck happened in the toll road’s southbound lanes, just south of Okeechobee Road near Hialeah Gardens and Medley. Video from Sky 10 showed a crane lifting the truck and some packages on the road as crews diverted slow-moving traffic around multiple blocked lanes. It’s not clear if anyone was injured.  A lightning strike sparked a house fire Thursday evening in Pinellas County, according to Seminole Fire Rescue. Firefighters were dispatched at 5:22 p.m. to a home on 128th Way near 91st Avenue N.  According to fire crews, two people were inside the home when it was hit by lightning during a thunderstorm. The Florida Highway Patrol said it is investigating a deadly crash on Friday involving an ATV and a truck in Fleming Island. FHP said the crash happened on U.S. 17 northbound at Hibernia Road in Clay County when a side-by-side vehicle and a pickup truck collided. It wasn’t immediately clear how many people were killed. A 70-year-old Florida woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 101 in Epping, New Hampshire, early Friday morning. A Pinellas Park man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after fatally shooting his wife on Thursday morning. According to police, officers responded to a reported shooting at 6301 58th St N #404 around 9:20 AM. Upon arrival, they found the suspect, Evangelos Mitrakos, detained at the scene. A man accused of an antisemitic attack in Ponta Vedra Beach nearly two years ago is expected to be sentenced Friday. Noah Amato was 17 years old during the attack in 2022. Deputies say he hit another teenager in the face and fired a gun near the other boy’s head. There are other crimes Amato is accused of beyond that one case. A school bus carrying 24 children was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Kingsley Avenue in Clay County Thursday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
