A child was hit by a car at a school bus stop in Lee County on Wednesday morning.
According to the Iona McGregor Fire Department, the child was hit at a school bus stop near Astarias Drive and McGregor Boulevard around 8:45 a.m. They were transported to a local hospital.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the child suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
