Coconut Creek man had ‘dozens’ of files of child sexual abuse material, cops say

A Coconut Creek man is facing nearly a dozen felony charges after police said he uploaded child sexual abuse material online.

Police arrested Phillip Marcus Wilson, 24, on Wednesday.

According to a heavily-redacted arrest report, two tips from file-hosting service Dropbox led police to Wilson.

Police said a Broward Sheriff’s Office digital forensics team found “dozens of images and videos” depicting child sexual abuse on his desktop computer.

Generally, the files depicted girls “under the age of 7″ being raped or otherwise sexually abused by men, the arrest report states.

Coconut Creek police arrested Wilson on 11 felony charges and he was being held in the BSO Main Jail on a $10,000 bond as of Thursday afternoon, according to jail records.
