A Collier County school bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash near Immokalee Road on Wednesday morning.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report of a three-vehicle crash near Immokalee Road and Plant Road around 6:05 a.m.
CCSO said no kids were on the bus, which Collier County Public Schools also confirmed.
One person was injured and transported to a hospital, but they were not listed as a trauma alert, according to CCSO.
CCSO said that Immokalee Road was closed for a while at the scene in order for debris from the crash to be cleaned up, but that the road has since fully reopened.
The bus driver involved in the crash was not cited or determined to be at fault, according to CCPS.
