A crash on the northbound side of I-275/Sunshine Skyway Bridge caused the headache.
The right line had periodic closures, as commuters struggled with slow downs of 6 miles per hour, trying to make it to Pinellas County.
As of 7:05 a.m., the backup is nearly 7 miles with a 33 minute delay.
Also noteworthy – a crash is delaying southbound I-75 at the Hillsborough/Manatee County line (MM-232), with a delay of near 20 minutes.
