Crash disrupts power service to some Lauderhill residents

Several Broward County residents were left without power following a crash early Sunday morning.

It happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 50th Avenue and 12th Street in Lauderhill.

Florida Power & Light reported that the outage impacted 19 of its customers, though power was estimated to be restored by 6:30 a.m.

A pole appeared to be damaged from the crash that involved an SUV.

There has been no word on what led up to the crash or if anyone was injured.
