One person is dead and two more are in the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Dixie County Thursday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, A gray Jeep was driving north on Northeast Highway 349 just after 5:30 p.m. A white Ford pickup truck was traveling south on Northeast Highway 349.
An unknown vehicle was also traveling south on Northeast Highway 349 in front of the Ford pickup truck. The unknown vehicle turned and entered the northbound lane on Northeast Highway 349 and was directly in the path of the Jeep.
The Jeep swerved around the unknown vehicle and entered the southbound lane and collided with the Ford pickup truck.
After colliding, The Jeep went off into the west grass shoulder, and the Ford pickup truck spun and came to a final rest was in the middle of the road.
The driver and passenger of the Jeep were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck was transported to the hospital where the driver died.
