A dirt bike caught fire inside a Cape Coral home on Friday.
According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, crews responded to a home in the 2200 block of Southwest Fourth Street after a report of a dirt bike catching on fire.
CCFD said residents were working on the bike inside the home when it burst into flames.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly, and there were no injuries.
CCFD said this serves as an important reminder to always do mechanical work in a well-ventilated area, such as an open garage or in an outdoor area.
