A driver blamed her malfunctioning vehicle after crashing into a median on County Road 466.

The woman was driving a black Hyundai at about 10:30 a.m. Monday when she crashed into the median on County Road 466 near Glen Hollow Way, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The woman told deputies the vehicle malfunctioned, forcing her to lose control.

She was not injured. Her vehicle knocked over a small tree in the median.
