A stretch of eastbound Interstate 4 in Polk County has reopened to traffic following a crash, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The crash happened after 6 a.m. in the eastbound lanes toward Orlando just before U.S. Highway 27. This is located north of the Davenport area in eastern Polk County.
Traffic cameras in the area showed cars backed up for about a mile from the crash.
The closure was relatively brief, with law enforcement reopening the highway around 6:40 a.m.
It’s not yet known what led up to the crash or whether anyone was hurt.
