The Florida Highway Patrol released a report on a deadly vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County on Monday.
FHP notes that on Monday afternoon, a Toyota Sequoia was traveling northbound on I-95 and approaching Indrio Road.
As the Toyota was overturning, FHP said multiple people in the Toyota were ejected.
FHP said there were eight people in the Toyota: seven adults and one infant. A man who was the driver and a woman passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
The remaining six passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to HCA Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by FHP.
