Cape Coral police are actively investigating an incident involving a man being stabbed in the chest.
The Cape Coral Police Department swarmed a home on Southeast 30th Street late Tuesday night.
Crime scene tape blocked off the driveway, and patrol cars lined the street as police worked at the scene right off Del Prado Boulevard.
CCPD confirmed that a stabbing occurred in that area. An man with a single knife wound to the chest was taken to the hospital, where he remains in the ICU.
Police also said that this was an isolated incident and that both parties know each other.
This is an active investigation.
