FHP: Fatal traffic crash in Midway prompts traffic detour

The Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 90 in Midway, where traffic is being rerouted this morning.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 90, according to the FHP. First responders were dispatched around 5:40 a.m. No other details were immediately available.

“A detour is being set up at U.S. 90 (Midway City Hall) and County Road 268 (Martin Luther King Boulevard) to East Brickyard Road,” the Highway Patrol said in a news release. “This detour will bring motorists out in front of the Pilot truck stop (in front of the Waffle House).”
