One person is dead and multiple people were injured following a crash in Escambia County Friday afternoon.
The crash happened on Jordan and North U Street around 3 p.m.
According to the county, five adults and two children were taken to the hospital. Out of the seven, four of them were transported as “trauma alerts.”
There’s been no details about many of their injuries at this time. However, Florida Highway Patrol confirmed a fatality.
Traffic homicide is on scene investigating. Troopers are working to send over more information.
