The St. Lucie County Fire District is responding to a commercial fire in Port St. Lucie Tuesday morning.

One firefighter and another person were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Firefighters arrived at the fire at South East Pools and Spas just after 5:30 a.m.

Pictures show the business located in the 7300 block of U.S. Highway 1 engulfed in flames.

Officials said upon arrival, the building was about 50% consumed.

SLCFD reported they stopped the flames from spreading to a neighboring fireworks store.
