A fire broke out at a commercial building in Fort Pierce on Tuesday morning.
The St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD) said at 11:35 a.m., multiple units responded to a commercial structure fire near 5400 US 1.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that everyone had safely evacuated the building. The fire was extinguished without incident and only affected one building. However, photos show the damage left behind. Three garages were impacted by the blaze, the fire leaving behind charred awnings.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental, officials said.
