A driver was airlifted to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 75 in Weston on Thursday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said troopers responded to the crash with injuries in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Glades Parkway.
A silver Kia struck a concrete wall, and two other vehicles were damaged in the crash, officials said.
A city alert said a vehicle involved was on fire, and Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue was at the scene.
Traffic cameras showed a rescue helicopter landing in the roadway as the emergency response blocked all lanes. By 7:36 a.m., the helicopter had taken off and authorities had opened at least one lane.
FHP officials said the driver was alert and conscious when he was airlifted.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
