A crash near Bayshore Drive and Linda Drive in Naples left one person injured early Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred off US-41 just after midnight. Video footage from the scene showed a mangled bicycle on the side of the road.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, one person was injured and transported to the hospital as a trauma alert.
CCSO has not yet confirmed if the injured person was related to the crashed bicycle.
The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash, which they are calling a hit-and-run. The roadway was blocked at the time of the crash, but has since reopened.
