A Lehigh Acres man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of choking and tying up his friend and using their bank account during a planned sale of a PlayStation 5.
NF, 32, was arrested and faces charges of kidnapping, robbery with a weapon and possession of a controlled substance, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO said F and the victim met on Monday at F’ house as his friend intended to buy a PlayStation 5. Instead, F is accused of getting a machete and choking the victim until they were unconscious.
The victim woke up and found that their legs and wrists were tied and taped, according to the sheriff’s office. F is then accused of making multiple transactions from the victim’s bank account to his account.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim escaped while F was sleeping early Tuesday morning. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies then arrested F at his house, according to LCSO. A search warrant also revealed the items used to tie up the victim as well as a mix of cocaine and fentanyl.
