Levy County motorcycle accident kills Ohio man.

A 50-year-old Marietta, Ohio man died Wednesday night when he drove his motorcycle off County Road 345 west of Chiefland and collided with a wooden fence.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving north on NW CR 345 at 10:20 p.m. when he attempted to negotiate a right-hand curve and crossed over the center line, entering the CR 345 southbound lane. He continued traveling north, crossing over NW 100th Street where he entered the north grass shoulder and collided with a wooden fence.

Emergency responders declared the driver dead at the scene.
