Man arrested in Naples for threatening to kill driver involved in crash with his wife.


A man was arrested in Naples after saying he was going to kill a man after a car crash involving his wife on March 8.

According to Naples police, Adrian Keys was upset after the crash near the 300 block of 9th Street North.

A driver improperly backed out of a parking spot and hit Keys’s wife’s vehicle while she was driving through the parking lot. Neither driver suffered any injuries and both vehicles had minor damage. Keys was not with his wife when the crash happened.

The report states that while cursing, Keys approached the other driver’s car after the crash.

Keys then put his hands around the man’s neck and said he was going to kill him, according to the report

Keys was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of misdemeanor battery.
