Man charged for Escambia County shooting, jailed on ICE hold

 A 32-year-old man is charged for a shooting in Escambia County in late October.

Olvin-Adonay Rojas was arrested Saturday and charged with attempted homicide and firing a gun in public.

He is in Escambia County Jail, where he also has a hold for ICE.

The shooting happened Oct. 25 on Arlington Drive.

The sheriff’s office says the victim sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and arm.

Deputies say the incident stemmed from a dispute between the two men.
