A motorcycle and a pickup truck hauling a trailer caught fire following a crash Tuesday morning in Pensacola.
It happened around 10:15 a.m. at Barrancas Ave. and Seamarge Lane.
Pensacola Police tell WEAR News the crash happened during a pursuit chase of the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, 42-year-old RMP, is now being held in Escambia County Jail with no bond on charges of drug trafficking, fleeing police, aggravated battery, damaged property, resisting an officer, drug possession, and a hit and run.
Police say he had a trafficking amount of fentanyl on him. He has not yet been booked into Escambia County Jail.
Following the crash, WEAR News crews observed the truck in flames with a motorcycle lodged underneath.
First responders put out the fire by 10:30 a.m.
No one was injured, according to police.
No further details were released.
