Man killed in crash on I-10 in Baker County: Florida Highway Patrol

A 34-year-old Lake City man was killed early Wednesday in a crash on I-10 eastbound near County Road 229, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said the man was headed east around 5:40 a.m. near mile marker 329 in Baker County when he “left the roadway” for unknown reasons and hit several trees.

The car ended up on its right side, according to the report.

The man, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.
