Miami-Dade man accused of sexually abusing boy in Broward.

A 37-year-old man was at the Paul Rein Detention Facility on Wednesday in Pompano Beach accused of sexually abusing a boy.

Records released on Wednesday show a detective accused Antijuan “Twan” Turner, who lives in Miami-Dade County, of sexually abusing an 8-year-old child in December, in Broward County.

According to Detective Cristina Agostini’s application for a warrant, the police investigation started on Jan. 21, and the boy told a licensed social worker on Feb. 15 that he was afraid of Turner.

A BSO deputy arrested Turner, of Miami Gardens, on April 3 at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and deputies took him to Broward, according to police records.

Turner was facing charges of lewd or lascivious molestation against a victim less than 12 years of age, lewd or lascivious conduct, and exposure of sexual organs.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 or Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
