Motorcyclist dead after crash on Three Oaks Parkway Thursday

One person died in a crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle in Lee County on Thursday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection of San Carlos Boulevard and Three Oaks Parkway.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Due to the accident, the northbound lanes on Three Oaks Parkway were temporarily closed.

The crash is still under investigation.
