Motorcyclist dies from injuries nearly a week after crash in Belle Glade

A motorcyclist died from his injuries almost a week after he got into a two-vehicle crash while traveling in Belle Glade.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) crash report, MA died on Thursday due to the injuries he sustained during the crash.

The report says A was riding his motorcycle on Saturday and traveling eastbound on US Highway 27, within the inner through lane, approaching Corkscrew Boulevard. Around the same time there was a 2021 Toyota heading westbound, and approaching a stop sign to cross the eastbound lanes, at the intersection of Corkscrew Boulevard.

As A approached the intersection, the Toyota failed to yield the right of way. It caused the front of A’s vehicle to collide with the passenger rear tire of the Toyota.

A was thrown off his motorcycle and came to a final rest on the roadway. He was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in critical condition.

Following the crash, A’s next of kin was notified.
