Motorcyclist dies in Pasco crash.

A 54-year-old New Port Richey man was killed late Saturday in a traffic crash on U.S. 19 at Louis Avenue in Holiday.

The man, whose name was not released by the Florida Highway Patrol, was driving a motorcycle south on U.S. 19 when a Dodge Challenger traveling north turned left in front of him.

The motorcycle struck the car and the driver suffered serious injuries, according to the FHP report. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died overnight.

The driver of the Challenger was not injured.
