Motorcyclist killed in collision with dump truck on 10th Avenue in Palm Springs

A man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a dump truck in Palm Springs on Saturday, according to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

PBSO says a dump truck was facing west in the center turn lane on 10th Avenue North as the driver prepared to back into a driveway. Around the same time, a motorcycle driven by Heisler Samayoa was traveling east on 10th Ave.

As the dump truck began backing across the roadway and into the eastbound lanes, Samayao, 21, struck the driver’s side of the truck, the crash report says.

Samayoa was pronounced dead at the scene, PBSO says.
