A motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a van Thursday night.
Clearwater Police Department and Clearwater Fire and Rescue responded to the crash around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Saturn Avenue.
The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old man from Bradenton, was taken to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition, officers said.
A 21-year-old Clearwater man driving a van in the eastbound lanes turned left in front of the motorcycle.
