ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Several animals were rescued from a house fire in Escambia County Thursday evening.
The fire was located in the 2200 block of Sparrow Lane. Two dogs and six cats were removed from the fire, the county says.
The animals were given medical care. No additional injuries were reported.
According to the county, the fire was under control by 5:30 p.m. It was completely out by 5:57 p.m.
