Local agencies responded to a crash Wednesday night on Highway 231 that left two injured.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 61-year-old man and a 63-year-old female passenger were traveling north on U.S. Highway 231 in the left turn lane and approached the intersection of U.S. Highway 231 and County Road 390.
Officials say the man failed to yield the right of way to a 22-year-old woman traveling south on SR 75 approaching the intersection.
The front of the 22-year-old woman’s sedan crashed into the passenger side of the man’s pickup truck.
According to a press release, the 22-year-old and the 63-year-old faced minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by the Panama City Police Department, Bay County Sheriff’s Office, and Bay County Emergency Services.
