A Panama City man has died in a traffic crash on State Road 22 in Gulf County on Saturday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 22 and Jarrott Daniels Road.
Troopers reported that a sedan with four occupants, a 25-year-old woman, a 27-year-old woman, a 3-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, all from Lynn Haven, was traveling west on State Road 22, approaching the intersection of Jarrott Daniels Road.
It was reported that an SUV, with two occupants, a 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, both from Panama City, was traveling east on State Road 22, also approaching the intersection.
Troopers said the sedan made a left turn onto Jarrott Daniels Road and did not yield the right of way to the SUV, resulting in a collision.
Troopers reported that the 54-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene and the 52-year-old woman sustained serious injuries.
The 25-year-old and 27-year-old women both reported having sustained serious injuries. The 3-year-old and 7-year-old sustained minor injuries.
