One-person dead following collision on U.S. 1, Brazilian Circle in Port St. Lucie

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a multi-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on U.S. 1 and Brazilian Circle.

According to the FHP report, at 7:46 a.m., a sedan was in the left turn lane of northbound U.S. 1, attempting to turn onto Brazilian Circle.

A motorcycle was traveling in the center lane of U.S. 1 approaching Brazilian Circle.

The sedan made a left turn. Then the front of the motorcycle collided with the sedan’s right rear.

The FHP report notes the driver of the motorcycle, a 65-year-old man from Fort Pierce, died from injuries sustained, while the operator of the sedan, a 33-year-old woman from Port St. Lucie, sustained minor injuries.
