An Orlando motorcyclist was killed on Interstate 4 Saturday morning after crashing into the back of another vehicle, authorities said.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the 39-year-old motorcyclist was traveling at a high speed eastbound on I-4 west of U.S. Highway 301 in the center lane at about 2:06 a.m.
The motorcyclist then overturned, traveled into the inside lane and collided with the rear an Audi Q7, driven by a 67-year-old Seminole man.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, the report stated.
The driver and passengers in the Audi were not injured.
Eastbound I-4 was shut down for several hours.
