Firefighters pulled two people from a blaze at a Davie apartment complex Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The fire happened at around 2:45 p.m. at a building in the 3700 block of Southwest 59th Avenue.
A Davie Fire Rescue spokesperson said after crews “rapidly located and removed” the victims from the apartment, and medics took the pair to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood and put the fire out.
Officials haven’t provided additional details about the victims, including their ages, genders or the extent of their injuries.
Local and state fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, the DFR spokesperson said.
