Palm Beach County deputy hospitalized after motorcycle crash.

New details were revealed in a motorcycle crash that left a deputy in the hospital.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the crash occurred at 6:52 a.m. between three vehicles at the intersection of Jog Road and Pioneer Road.

The crash report says a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 52-year-old man, was traveling eastbound on Pioneer Road and was attempting to turn left onto Jog Road.

Meanwhile, the deputy on his motorcycle was in the center lane approaching the intersection of Pioneer Road.

The third vehicle, identified as a 2023 Mazda CX5 was traveling on the inside lane of Jog Road, approaching the intersection of Pioneer Road.

As the deputy neared the intersection, the driver of the Silverado turned into the path of the deputy’s motorcycle, causing the collision and violating the deputy’s right of way.

The right side of the deputy’s motorcycle crashed into the driver’s front of the Silverado, causing the motorcycle to overturn and slide on its right side.

While sliding the motorcycle collided with the front of the Mazda CX5, which was driven by a 33-year-old man.

Video taken showed multiple PBSO deputy cruisers at the scene of the crash.

PBSO says the deputy was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center.

The driver of the Silverado and the Mazda suffered no injuries.
