Jacksonville police responded early Sunday morning to a shooting at the Sunoco gas station located at 1393 Kings Road. Officers arrived around 6:10 a.m. to find two victims with gunshot wounds.
A third victim later flagged down officers nearby.
The victims include two women and one man, all in their 30s. One woman suffered gunshot wounds to her hand and leg, the other woman to her leg, and the man to his foot. All were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Robbery and Violent Crime Unit, the victims were standing near the gas pumps when a dark-colored Dodge Charger pulled in.
The passenger rolled down the window and fired multiple shots, striking the victims.
Detectives are investigating the incident, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing surveillance footage.
