Miami police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured Sunday night.

Officers responded to the area of Northwest 37th Avenue and 11th Street, near the Little Havana and Flagami neighborhoods, at around 8:45 p.m., where they found a man unconscious in the road.

Miami Fire Rescue took the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

Police said the driver involved stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
