A car slammed into the front door of an Englewood bank Monday afternoon, according to authorities.

The Englewood Fire Department received reports of a crash at the TrustCo Bank on South McCall Road just before 2 p.m. on Monday.

Photos provided by the fire department showed a convertible sitting at the front of the business, with the bank’s front door nearly knocked off its hinges and caution tape surrounding the area.

Firefighters said the driver of the convertible was not injured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. No one inside the building was hurt.

Authorities did not state what may have caused the crash.
