UPDATE: According to a news release, the woman has died from her injuries sustained during the crash.
The Panama City Police Department said that the driver of the truck has been identified as 54-year-old CRD of Panama City.
D has been arrested for DUI Manslaughter after an investigation was conducted and has been transported to the Bay County Jail.
Officers said that the criminal investigation is ongoing.

Panama City Police officers are investigating after a woman was hit by a truck in the downtown Panama City area Monday morning.
It happened shortly after 10 a.m. on Beach Drive and Harrison Avenue, near the St. Andrew Towers.
According to Panama City Police, a woman in a motorized wheelchair was hit by a truck.
Officers said first responders were giving CPR when they transported her to the hospital.
Her condition is unknown at this time.
The intersection of Beach Drive and Harrison Avenue is blocked off while police conduct a preliminary traffic homicide investigation.
Officers said to expect the area to be blocked to traffic for a few hours.
