A plane crashed in the Florida Everglades on Tuesday afternoon near the Collier County line.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, its air rescue team was dispatched to the plane crash near Shark Valley at 2:44 p.m., and two people were on board.
Officials said the two people were able to get out of the plane themselves but needed to be rescued because they were stranded.
Rescue crews had to do a hoist operation due to the difficult terrain and remote location.
No injuries were reported, and the two people were taken back to Miami Executive Airport.
