A man was hospitalized after being shot in the leg in Fort Lauderdale late Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
Fort Lauderdale police said officers responded to the 1200 block of Northwest Seventh Street just before 5 p.m. and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
They said he was taken to Broward Health Medical Center by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
