Two people were injured Wednesday following a crash in Plantation, police said.
According to preliminary information, the collision occurred in the 10100 block of West Sunrise Boulevard, prompting a partial road closure.
Plantation Fire Department crews had to extricate both drivers from their vehicles before transporting them to the hospital.
Plantation Police issued a traffic alert, urging drivers to avoid the area as westbound lanes of Pine Island Road and the 10100 block of West Sunrise Boulevard were closed.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
