Miami Gardens police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning at an apartment complex.
According to a police officer at the scene, the shooting occurred shortly after midnight at an apartment complex off Northwest 191st Street and 27th Avenue.
A witness told Local 10 News that the incident started as a fight between a group of boys before someone pulled out a gun and shot one of the boys.
The witness said the boy was airlifted to a hospital.
Police have not yet confirmed those details.
A Local 10 News crew was at the scene later in the morning as detectives were seen going in and out of one unit.
No other details were immediately released by police.
