Sarasota Police are investigating a road-rage shooting.
According to a release from the department, the shooting took place after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning near 4th Street and N. Osprey. The department says a gun was fired as a result of a road rage incident.
There are no description of the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle.
Investigators, along with Crime Scene Technicians, were on scene and have completed their investigation.
The roadway has now reopened, and the area of Osprey Avenue is no longer closed.
