Southbound Turnpike, north of Indiantown Road, mostly open after rush hour wreck

A rush hour crash in Palm Beach County on Monday morning caused long delays for southbound traffic on the Florida Turnpike.

All lanes heading south were blocked off north of Indiantown Road, at mile marker 117, following the wreck, according to the Florid 511 website, which happened around 6:45 a.m.

At the time, its traffic cam video showed multiple emergency vehicles blocking the road, with drivers lined up all the way into Martin County. behind them.

By 8:30 a.m., the highway was mostly open, with emergency vehicles only blocking off the right shoulder of the Turnpike.

Authorities have not provided any details about the incident at this time, including how many vehicles were involved, or if anyone was injured.
